PokerReads ("we", "our", "the app") is a poker hand tracking and analysis tool. This policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Information We Collect

Account Information

• Email address (for authentication)
• Username (optional, chosen by you)

Hand History Data

• Player names you enter
• Hand history text you record
• Dates and timestamps of entries

Subscription Information

• Payment status (active/inactive)
• Subscription dates
• We do NOT store credit card numbers or payment details — these are handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Stripe

Automatically Collected

• Device type and operating system version
• App version
• Anonymous usage analytics (crash reports)

How We Use Your Information

• Authentication: Your email is used to create and secure your account
• Core Functionality: Hand histories are stored to provide the note-taking and player tracking features
• AI Analysis: Hand history text is sent to Anthropic's Claude AI to generate player tendency analysis. This data is processed in real-time and not stored by Anthropic for training purposes
• Groups: If you join a collaborative group, your hand histories shared to that group are visible to other group members
• Payments: To verify your subscription status and provide access to paid features

Third-Party Services

• Supabase (database and authentication): Your account data and hand histories are stored securely on Supabase's infrastructure
• Anthropic Claude AI (analysis): Hand history text is sent to generate player analysis. Anthropic does not use this data for model training
• Apple App Store (iOS payments): Subscription payments are processed by Apple
• Stripe (non-iOS payments): Payment processing for web and Android users

Data Storage and Security

• All data is stored on Supabase's secure cloud infrastructure
• Data is encrypted in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest
• Row-level security ensures you can only access your own data and data from groups you belong to
• We do not sell, share, or rent your personal information to third parties

Data Retention

• Your data is retained as long as your account is active
• You can delete individual hand histories at any time from within the app
• You can delete your account and all associated data from the Settings screen in the app

Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data
• Correct inaccurate data
• Delete your data
• Export your data
• Withdraw consent at any time

Children's Privacy

PokerReads is not intended for children under 17. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 17.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or via email.
